Has no picture just sound....Where should i start looking in the power supply? And could anyone please let me know where i could maybe find a schematic or manual for this model?? Many many thanxs in advance.....
Where is the vertical ic in the chassis
Whats the chassis number it should be located on the tag along with the model number. I will post a link where you can get a manual. I would check the vertical output solder. Try resoldering the vertical output IC see if that restores video.

Hello, I have no video just sound on my P52960 52 in TV. This is
chassis# PTK195Y06B. This started after I tried to fix an intermittent pincushion by re-soldering some caps and diodes in the power circuitry.
While I had the card out, the flyback looked like it could use a little
more solder, so to make sure that the flyback wasn't causing any
problems I added some solder there. Now the tv turns on, or at lest it
sounds like its on, and I get audio as well. The fly back seems to be
very statically charged-I can see dust cling to the large red flyback
wire, but the CRTs are not providing any light. I see someone mentioned checking the vertical output IC, but I don't have the schematic, any one know which chip this is? (The refrence designator on the circuit card would be most helpful) Thanks for the help everyone.
