My Miele cat & dog 700 vacuum cleaner is not powering up. The red fault light is on; the bag is not full and the filters are clean.
Will it power up without the hose attached? If it does then you have a clogged hose. If not, there is a circuit board by the motor that may be bad.

my miele S314i will not stay on and it seems to have something to do with the hose. if i pull the cord out and push the button to wind it back up in that pattern (in and out) it will sometimes go back on but it won't stay on. I also smell a funny burning smell while I use it.
new filters put in tryed hoover again came on for 1 minite then went off again keep leaveing it and trying again but light comes on and will not start
