The clear plastic cover that covers my screen broke

It should only be stuck on there with some tape. It's tricky but it can come off. Then when ya get the new one. There will be a plastic cover over the adhesive you'll remove, and stick right back on the phone

most lcd/led tv,s the front panel is the display you can try polishing the screen with very fine abrasive like jewelers rouge or your local car dealer sell plastic polish to remove scratches from plastic headlamp lenses if not its a new display a new tv is poss a better option. i have used silver polish to rejuvinate car headlamp lenses to good effect

You can repair it if, you know how to mold and work plastic. Or, you may be able to use small screws if you don't mind the ugly. Personally, I would replace the cover. If your printer is under warranty, this may be a defect in their design. Try calling Brother to find out if they'll fix it for nothing.

Remove the top freezer hinge cover and disconnect the plug there . This will remove power to the door . At the bottom of the dispenser cover , but inside the dispensing area , between the grill and the cover , insert a small screwdriver about 1 " in on both sides , and push down and inward , forcing the bottom of the cover outward . Do this carefully , due to plastic tabs on the dispenser cover . After bottom is loose , lift upward , to release the top plastic slots of the cover . Disconnect the plug on the cover . Remove the 2 screws holding the dispenser housing , and slide forward . You should now be able to see the door flap , return spring and pin . You will have to see which part(s) are needed or what the situation is . Maybe pin slid out , maybe the clear plastic ice guide , connected to the dispenser activator arm , broke loose , obstructing the closure of the door flap . Come back with your findings and a model number , and myself or another expert , will be glad to give you part numbers .

A cracked screen will cost you, but maybe not as much as you think. Instead of replacing the whole , you can spend about $300 and replace the screen yourself. All you need is a small screwdriver.

1)Turn off the power to your screen and unplug all cables connected to it.
2)Remove the battery, if one is installed.
3)Locate the covered screws around the cracked screen. Remove the rubber/plastic covers, then unscrew the screws.
4)Gently remove the plastic frame around the cracked screen and set it aside.
5)Disconnect any power cords or cables going into the LCD screen.
6)Remove the cracked screen and slide the new screen into place. Replace any tape or plastic fasteners that hold it in place.
7)Reconnect all internal cords to the screen.
8)Screw in the frame and replace all the screw covers.
9)Reconnect the power supply and all external cables to the LCD screen and switch it on.

If you just want to replace the plastic cover on the phone which is on top of the lcd screen then get a small screw driver and lift off the plastic from the top where the ear piece is situated. The plastic cover will lift of quite easily and you then just replace the clear cover with a new one. Make sure that you are in a dust free area so that no dust is trapped between the plastic screen and the lcd screen. You should be able to buy the plastic screen covers from ebay for under £5

the lcd screen? hmm is it blank or cracked ... probably I would chuck it for the new cells are free with a contract, but if you have to ...
contact the manufacturer and order and a screen and get a set of tiny screw drivers to open it .. some are tricky and you need to figure out where they hide the screws .

The Solution:
1. Firstly unplug the decks!!!
2. Remove the slipmatts and platter
3. Unscrew the circular plastic cover (Note: 5 screws holding it down)
4. Upon removing this circular plastic cover you will see a clear piece of plastic covering a circuit board, open it up. Now you will see a two fuses one clear and one stripey. 5. Remove the fuses (Gently poke it out with a pen/screwdriver or whatever) and examine it and see if either or both have infact blown.
6. Bring the suspect fuse/s to any electric/hardware/music type store (or search the net) and try to get a replacment but make sure its the same as the fuse you removed!!!. A T250 mA fuse(clear) an a T1A Fuse (stripey) are stated in the Technics user manual.
7. Now get the new fuse and gently snap it back in to the silver holders.
8. Replace the clear plastic circuit board cover.
9. Screw back the the circular plastic cover (Note: 5 screws holding it down)
10. Replace the Platter and slipmats
11. Turn them on and spin away
