Hi there's this website something like reliable-store and it is very amazing for manual for repairing servicing anything
someone on fixya recommended it to me and I thank him even today
Uniden has been out of the radar detector business for some time now. I would strongly suggest getting a different radar detector instead of using this older model since newer radar detector models generally have far better performance -- especially for detecting Ka band radar.
Anyway, Uniden's web site does not list an instruction manual for this particular radar detector model. Yet, take a look at the instruction manual for the most similarly numbered product model shown in the following link:
One of the instruction manuals in the above link should be similar enough to your radar detector so that you can figure out everything regarding your specific Uniden RD model.
I have the manual for the RD55 as well as the unit, brackets and original box. It works great, I just have no need for it anymore. If anyone is interested, make me an offer.

I found a statement from Whistler Support that is was not manufactured by Whistler Inc. and was produced prior to 1999. If youre somewhat handy, you might want to open it up and read the fcc id number on the logic board. Search for it here;
http://www.driverzone.com/fcc_id_search.htm
and it will tell you the manufacturer. It may provide some better information to search with.
Why would you even want to use something with technology that old?
It has a woodgrain housing for petes sake!! :0)
Best of Luck

sorry couldn't post a direct link - just click on manuals at the top, select radar detectors and the download link is near the top of the list.
Hope this helps :)
