Preference How do I switch to kms from miles? Thank you.

1.Is the noise coming from the inside of the engine or the outside of the engine or from some other area of the car not part of the engine bay?.
If it is coming from the inside of the engine ....
1. How many miles or kms has the vehicle done
2. How many miles or kms since the last engine oil change
3. What grade of oil was used for the last oil change (eg. 5w-30 or 10w-30 or some other).

It depends on which system you are familiar with. If in the US miles is Canada or GB KM. Find settings and change accordingly.

and 60k is most cars. (most cars they like to die at 100k miles)
and is not possible by any human to answer EOL , end of life.

that depends if its Honda belt, or Gates or some china carp

ok it seems this belt is the first ever to be changed out. Gates is the best.
my online links shows 5 engine options, 1.6L to 3L.
that begs the question #1 is my engine interference type,
if you go to the GATES (tm) ecatalog, you can see if it is or not. using engine type. option as your selection.
i pulled up the maintenance tab and it states, 105K miles.
but may vary by engine, and for sure if belt is 2nd time.
look up this info carefully.
and can vary with cars driven extensively in stop and go traffic.
hot , and long engine hours, but low miles.
i see no chain, on the 5 engines, alldata shows 5 belts.

i look at Gates and bingo Interference.

easy answer?, if it looks bad, it is. get it out of there.

if really paranoid, get a real Honda belt... 105k miles is magic.

1) there two ways:
1) under the display board, there are small orifice, use the point of pencil eraser, clich the small switch, and ready.

2) if doesnot have orifice, use the menu, and set the change for kms.

Here is an example of miles to kilometers

mi -> kmkm = mi * 1.6093km = 107.098 * 1.6093km = 172.36
or kilometers to miles
km -> mimi = km _______ 1.6093mi = 107.098 ________ 1.6093mi = 66.548

you must go under the display board, or monitor, see the small orifice, and put the point of erase pencil in the small orifice and touch the small switch, and ready.

Should work just fine without having to change anything. If i remember right UK is still on the imperial system and not the metric which wouldn't affect the unit, just in the road signs, As in kms to someplace instead of miles like you are used to. As for the maps i would suggest that you buy another SD card and download the UK maps to it and leave your card at home. To switch maps see if the map you need is on the SD card, probably not, but it might be on your cd that came with the unit. If so just use a new card and download it using the software onto the SD card. Test the card to make sure that it works before you leave though. Hope this helps

I DONT KNOW THE CODES OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE AN EXHAUST LEAK AT THE FRONT OF THE EXHAUST SYSTEM AND THE OXYGEN SENSORS DONT KNOW ABOUT IT .IN TURN THEY ARE ADDING MORE FUEL TO YOUR SYSTEM BECAUSE TOO MUCH AIR IS GETTING SUCKED IN TO THE EXHAUST.
