Try www.TripodQuickRelease.com for that part. There is listed the widest selection of quick releases and support more brands than any other web site I’ve seen. Because your tripod is not supported by the manufacturer; parts lists and pars are not available, you should measure the opening and see what other brand quick releases will work paying attention to the shape and locking mechanism. Otherwise just get another tripod.

Purchased this Tripod 2nd hand and there is no quick release plate. Anyone know where I can get a spare?

A search on Ebay may be fruitful, or failing that your local friendly camera dealer may have a 'box of bits' containing what you seek, or a reasonable alternative.

Miranda tp20 quick release head

Take your tripod to a camera store, and see if they have any that fit. All of my tripods that take quick release heads take the same one.

Were can i get a foot for a miranda v750 tripod, please. I need the rubber, the screw bit and the bit that fits inside the leg. thankyou.

Sorry, but you can't.

All Miranda branded products were exclusive to DSG (Dixons, Currys) and were the cheapest of the cheap. As such they are not designed to be repaired and spare parts are not available. Any Miranda products which failed during the manufacturers warranty and were returned to DSG for repair were invariably thrown away and replaced with DSG claiming a credit from the supplier.

This is not exclusive to Miranda, most cheap to medium priced brands of all similar products have the same policy. If you want tripods which will last for years with full spare parts support then you have to pay a lot more for the likes of Manfrotto, Gitzo, Velbon, Benbo, Slik and others but they're all only worth it for regular tripod users or for those for whom price isn't an issue.

Even if you could get the spare part, it would cost more than one of the tripods which the likes of Aldi and Lidl regularly sell in the UK for £10. The Aldi version comes with a carry bag, spare quick release plate, carry handle and strap and a comprehensive three year no quibble warranty. They're not on the current stock list, but come in every few months as one of their regular special deals.

If you don't want to replace your tripod, then the next best thing is to simply fashion a wooden plug to fit the end of the damaged leg and maybe fit a rubber foot on the end, like those sold for walking sticks or the the kind sold by larger DIY stores to fit under wooden chair legs.

I hope that my reply has been of assistance and that you can return the favour by rating my answer.
