It's free. Contact Infinity. Manufacturing defect, they all blow up.
I contacted Infinity and they wrote me back telling me it was around $170 for the 'amp' replacement board for the TSS-1200 subwoofer. I told them that this should be covered under factory warranty because of the known defect, and they said it wasn't.
Not sure how to get Infinity (Harmon) to replace it for free. More information on who to contact and what to say (or proper steps to take) would be greatly appreciated.
The info was for the TSS-1100, not TSS-1200 if there is such a model.

Yes, the board says TSS-1100 on it. I see the service manual you included (thanks), but was wondering how to get it replaced for free still. I can't find the receipt and it is probably out of factory warranty so is there a number I should call or a special department I should talk to, to get them to replace it at no-charge? Not really wanting to drop $170 on a replacement board and I'm not the best at soldering so the manual doesn't help me that much.
Thanks.
This goes back a bit when I saw that they were replacing them at no charge. Maybe they changed their policy in the last 9 months.... It was a manufacturing defect, Wrong parts were installed and they all blew up eventually.
This amp has 1 year warranty - if its ot of warranty check ebay - there is a guythere that fixes them - great price and great guy.
