Pls tell me the clear solution for my mobile problem.when I switch on my Nokia 3110c, the screen flashes 2 or 3 time and shuts down. What could be the problem? I check the battery and SIM, they look fine

Are you sure the abttary is full? Try to power the mobile when it's charged. If that won't work, you can try to dismantle the battary for 10 minutes and then try again.

You can't flash it with those techniques and even with the Nokia Updater, you have to use a Flashing Box like Jaf Box or UFS box to flash the Mobile. Currently, Jaf Box supports Nokia 3110c but it costs nearly one half of the Nokia 3110c price and I don't think you need to buy the ufs box if you are not a professional or if you are not running a mobile repairing business. Better take it to a Nokia Service Center or visit a local Nokia Repairing shop and get it flashed.
Those boxes come bundled with software (mobile flashing software) and cables of different models.
The first two codes you've used are Soft Reset and Formatting Codes and the nokia updater is to update the firmware of the nokia database. That'll not help you in flashing your handset.

Switch off the mobile, remove the sim card and memory card (otherwise you'll loose all the contents saved on your memory card and sim card). Now, press *+#+power switch (Star "*" + Hash "#"+Power switch). Hold down all the keys and wait for few seconds, once you see the screen displays something, release all the keys and follow the onscreen instructions.

Try the same battery with different nokia mobiles,if that mobile doesnt swith on then the battery s weak change the battery or it can be display issue.
