Actually, what you have to get is the Vista version of the High Definition Audio Codecs fom Realtek, install that and then listen to some nice music. :)

Thanks

Then select the AC97 codes the version 7.094 is the win 7 one. It should work.

I want to install km266pro-8235 sound driver. but i can't found it

Kanwa -- Must say not an easy one to find. That's a pretty old generic motherboard. That motherboard has a Realtek sound controller (Your board needs the Realtek AC'97 drivers for your particular operating system).

If you use Vista or Windows 7 you should download the Realtek AC'97 Driver for Windows Vista /
Windows 7) 6.0.1.6305.

For Windows XP download the Realtek AC97 Driver for Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003 A4.06.

If one of these doesn't work then remove the driver and install VIA Vinyl AC'97 Codec Combo Driver 7.0b

The link is HERE.

Good Luck

Sound quality

First of all is your hardware compatible with Windows 7? Check at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

If your hardware is listed ... there may be a note there.

Second, visit the realtek site and see if they have the drivers to upgrade your program to 7.

If your hardware is not supported ... you wull have to upgrade.

A reasonable answer.

Insert Leopard DVD for Boot Camp Drivers [if you know how to use torrents then download from here http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3860505/BootCamp_2.0_(Leopard)_Windows_drivers] . Don't auto-run the installer. Navigate to the drivers folder and there you find the individual .exe files files for each driver.
Right click on the RealTek driver and select 'troubleshoot installation'. Windows will ask you several questions, but basically the gist of it is to tell Windows that 'This driver used to work OK in Vista'.
or
You need drivers of boot camp on mac osx 10.5.4 dvd.then open Drivers folder, you will see RealTekSetup.exe right click then click to troubleshoot compability. A window will apper. You'll se Program Compability click next below. Select "the program worked earlier versions of windows but won't install or run nom." and click next. Realtek Setup will start and install drivers. solution is just this.
Lemme know if this solved the problem...
