Check all of the large resistors on the convergence board. Usually at least one will be fried. Most likely, the 2.2 ohm if I remember correctly. Of course, make sure all the plugs are correct and plugged in.

It sounds like you may have slightly diconnected a cable. Look for the large RED cable/wire that goes to the Blue tube and make sure that they are very secure. When doing this make sure the TV is off.
convergance amps are failing and need to be replaced along with the 2 burnt resistors not a bad job they are locate on a smaal board in front behind the front panel on a large heat sink you can take the board out and work on it
Its actually a easy repair but its recommended that the convergence resistors need replacement as well. You can get the parts at the following link and they provide free detailed instructions with pictures. You need two STK392-110 Convergence ICs and you would need the JVC convergence Resistor kit #1 also. Heres the link. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
