If the machine has been overloaded you may have partially damaged the coupling between the motor and the gearbox.or you may have damaged the gearbox itself...The coupling is a simple job for a tech but the other problem can be more expensive. Fortunately changing a gearbox does not take a long time. Check with a tech....Good luck....Nomess

SOURCE: My Maytag PAV2300AWW Performa is noisy on spin cycle

If you are talking about a loud sqeaking noise, this is usually attributed to a worn snubber ring and/or brake assembly. You cannot lubricate the snubber to get rid of the noise. In fact, you may damage the washer if you do. A small amount of corn starch can be sprinkled under the bottom tub support where the snubber ring is to get rid of most noise related problems (this will be the bottom round plate where it meets the casing of the machine). However, if the snubber is worn too much, or if the brake assembly is worn they must be replaced. I would recommend replacing the following parts:

Brake Stator: 1057484 Price: $7.45
Brake Rotor and Lining: 1032674 Price: $16.70
Snubber: 1055142 Price: $4.35
Brake Removal Kit: 997909 Price: $99.40*

*Brake removal tool is required in order to remove the brake assembly and/or to replace the snubber. There is a 200lbs spring located under the Brake Stator that must be compressed PRIOR to removal or you could cause injury to yourself.

You can find all your parts and information at repairclinic.com. I am not affiliated with the website. I am merely recommending them because I have used their service before. Plus, they use the same repair parts as your major appliance repair companies, but at a lower cost.

The parts required to make the repairs aren't very expensive, but the tool required to do it IS. Also, if you've never worked on this type of washer before, this is not a job that I would recommended to the average do-it-yourselfer. Maytag is real good abpout providing the necessary instructions with their parts, but this is a bit involved.

Post back with comments and let me know if this helps you.

SOURCE: Eurotech front loading washer, noisy on spin cycle with load.

My eurotech washer has an inner and outer stainless steel drum. The inner drum is supported in the back by cast aluminum supports. (like many other models). The cast aluminum carodes and weakens and breaks. You may find pices of this in the strainer. Not hard to replace and not expensive but very difficult to get the part. Eurotech has been out of the part for months.

Excessive noise during the spin cycle. we have owned the washer for 16 months. problem started 1 wk. the machine is level.

It's noisy Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

It only happens when the motor turns slow for the first minute during the spin cycle. Otherwise it works fine.
if the motor is proper then the bearings in the motor got rusted and that needs replacement.the beasrings are located on the back of the motor.

Noisy spin cycle

It would be noisier than normal if it was not level.
Best way to tell if it is noisier than normal is to spin the drum by hand, there should be little or no noise from it.
If it is noisy or rumbling, or feels rough, then I would suspect that the drum bearings are worn and noisy.
An hour to complete a wash cycle is not abnormal, and they do do several rinses.

Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
