Hitachi LCD TV, Problem with the image

- I just replaced the lamp about 2 weeks ago.
After replacing the lamp now I am having problems with the image quality. When I turn the tv on I get a very slight blue shadow at the bottom middle part of the screen. It is hardly visible at the start but after more or less 30 minutes of work that small shadow becomes like a small blue hand that takes maybe 1/8th of the screen and it is only in the the bottom middle part of the screen. A little while later the middle part of the screen (vertically) turns like blue. I can see the image perfect but the image is blue in that part of the screen. I called the company where I bought the lamp and the think that i might have a problem with the lcd chips and I might have to replace the light engine. I would appreciate if someone could help me with this issue. Thanks
