i think its a mouse pad problem, disable the mouse pad , and use external mouse and try. i think your problem can be solved this way.

sometimes the default gateway is not always 192.168.1.1 sometimes it is actualy your ip adress for example 192.168.0.1 but that won't always work so go to command prompt and type 'ipconfig" and press enter first try your ip and then try the default gateway... for any more help please pm me for any more help...

Yes, this happens when you have a mouse connected to a laptop. I had the same problem .... was worried I had a serious problem. But when I disabled the touch pad, everything was fine!

If you can open the file from within Word (File, Open, ...) it sounds like you need to Set the Vista File Association:

1. Click the Start button.
2. Select Control Panel.
3. Select Programs.
4. Under Default Programs, select Make a file type always open in a specific program.
The Set Associations window will appear, allowing you to change what program a file type is associated with by selecting the file type and clicking the Change program button.
5. Since you are only looking to change a single file type (.DOC) right-click the ".doc" line - Microsoft Office Word - and select Properties. Under the General tab, click the Change button to select Microsoft Word program.

Front Loaders do n ot do so well on smooth, shiny or soft flooring. they tend to jump all over the place on the spin cycle.

There are some things that you can do to improve the situation.
I learned this AFTER I paid for a service call on mine.

We placed a commercial style rug with a thick rubber backing all the way underneath our machine. You can buy the smaller ones usually at hardware stores.

Also, be very selective about loading. Wash towels with towels, and shirts and undies together, and jeans all together. In other words, no mixed weight loads.

If you go to http://www.pentaximaging.com and click on the service link it will tell you how to send it back (in the United States). My camera had a focusing problem. It was there for almost seven weeks before it was returned. I am not sure how good their technicians are since three weeks after I got the camera back the autofocus quit working again. I ordinarily use manual focus, but no one else in the family does. I called Pentax to complain and was told to ship the camera back (again). Finally they agreed to put out a pick up order for the camera. I was told they would pick it up sometime next week. I expect I won't see the camera again until November and that the camera will have spent a significant time at Pentax during the warranty period.
