Well there is no problem from upgrading the (OS) to windows 7 ultimate . because your laptop resources are not low. regrading for the video driver issue .Download the drivers for windows 32 from http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support

This error msg would appear if your using a counterfeit operating system. To remove this message, you have to activate your windows. Hope this one helps. Thanx

LINK The above link is for the KT7a with Raid, however the standard KT7a also lists the same bios updates, the KT7a Raid ver1 lists different bios that won't be compatible with your board.
