Camera goes black when i take a picture - Olympus FE-230 Digital Camera

check to see that mirror goes all the way up

check to make sure secondary mirror attached to bottom of main mirror goes all the way up when mirror goes up

check to make sure a shutter blade is out of place or broken

for all of these set the camera on manual and bulb, and set it to fire without a card, and then take off the lens and look in the mirror box when firing

Faulty or dead battery.

If the screen goes black, you can still take pictures. There is no way to fix the black screen, it just blew out.

This is normal.

WHEN I TURN MY SONY DSC-W200 CAMERA ON THE LCD SCREEN GOES TO BLACK, I CAN TAKE AND VIEW MY PICTURES. EVERY OTHER FEATURE WORKS WELL.

The Digital Rebel XTi doesn't have 'live view' mode, you can't see what you're taking a picture of before you take the picture.

The LCD screen is black and I can't tace picture. But I can still view my pics. The camera goes thru all the motions like it is taking a picture but it is just coming up black.

after i take a picture on my nikon coolpix the screen goes black for about 30 seconds before you can take another picture.

If you see all black in the viewfinder something bad has happened to the lens. It could be stuck, tilted, etc.

It will need to be taken apart and serviced by a trained technician.
