When I turned on the Microwave oven, I heard a different noise.

Shortly after the noise, the heating element stopped working. It will now turn on but will not heat.

Its probably the fuse connected to the magnatron which is a small white casing with two wires coming out of it..the fuse is inside this..costs about 5 -6 pounds n ebay

Grill element stopped working.
I had the same. Dismantle the oven and see at the back side the connection wires for the heat element. Mostly one of the connectors is faulty. I fixed it that way.
