Drum seems off balance....

The cycle seems to run just fine until it gets to the final spin and it doesn't spin fast enough to completely ring out the water from the clothes. It also spins loud and when I manually spin the drum it rubs. Any ideas how to fix this?????? Thank you so much in advance!!!

You likely have a corroded/broken spinner assembly on the back of the inner tub. If your washer is out of warranty it is usually cost-prohibitive to repair. We usually quote about $350-$400 parts and labor for it. If you can wiggle the inner basket relative to the outer, that confirms a broken spinner.

Hotpoint Aquarius WDL540 Washer/Dryer - The machine runs a cycle up until a fast spin - then trips the electric.

The issue with the Hotpoint Aquarius WDL540 Washer/Dryer tripping the electricity during the fast spin cycle could be due to several factors. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the drum balance: Make sure the load is evenly balanced in the drum. If the load is unbalanced, it can cause the drum to spin unevenly, which could trip the electricity.
  2. Check the motor: If the motor is not functioning properly, it could cause the machine to trip the electricity during the fast spin cycle.
  3. Check the belt: If the belt is loose or damaged, it could cause the drum to spin unevenly, which could trip the electricity.
  4. Check the suspension: If the suspension is worn or damaged, it could cause the drum to spin unevenly, which could trip the electricity.
  5. Check the wiring: If the wiring is damaged or frayed, it could cause a short circuit, which could trip the electricity.
If you're unable to resolve the issue with the above steps, it's possible that the machine may need to be repaired. In this case, you may want to consider contacting Hotpoint customer support for information on repair options.

Our washing machine is being placed in storage, but we can still hear water in the bottom of the machine (not in the tub). Is this normal? It seems like we should get all the water out before storin

If its a front loader there is liquid inside the drum put there by the manufacturer for balance and stability when the machine is running, that's probably the water sound you hear when you move it around.

Is leaking water at the back and running in the floor the hoses are tight drain pipe is in right

Here's what I've seen. Water will be full, machine goes to spin/drain and expects the water to be pumped out as predicted. If pump is clogged, the pump cannnot pump out water quickly enough and the spinning causes the water to spill over the back of the tub, between the tub and balance ring. The balance ring is never sealed tightly to the tub so water will get through. Fill the basket with water, extra high, hold lid switch down, and see if it drains out fast enough so water doesn't spin out. If this is the case, pull pump, dislodge debris.

Will not spin fast enough on final spin cycle to

ITS POSSABLE ITS NOT PUMPING FAST ENOUGH. CHECK THE DRAIN HOSE AND MAKE SURE IT HAS NO KINK. IF THATS OK IT MAY HAVE A BUILDUP OF SOAP. RUN A EMPTY CYCLE WITH NO SOAP. IF THAT DONT WORK YOU NEED A REPIARMAN TO CLEAN OR REPLACE THE PUMP.

Whirlpool front load washer won't spin - just sometimes

Most Whirlpool (Hotpoint) machines have "out of balance" sensors that detect very large movements of the drum suspension usually due to a very badly balanced washing load.
This can occur for various reasons but putting large and/or heavy items in can trigger these sensors i,f as the machine starts to spin, the items dont get distributed evenly around the drum. This is more likley with large/heavy items.
The machine will then restrict the spin speed for the remainder of the wash cycle, and once the machine is switched off, the next time the machine is used it returns the spin speed back to normal - but if it detects an out of balance situation, it will again restrict the spin speed.
It sounds to me the machine is acting as designed. You could try positioning the items differently as you load them, and hope they dont end up "all over one side".

LG front load washer/ clothes still wet after final spin

The heavy jacket prevented the washer from spinning at a rapid pace, so I added a heavy bathrobe to absorb some of the water and to balance the load. The washer then spun very quickly and drained out all the water.

Drum off balance

It's either a bad suspension spring or you have a crack in the tub support.

Final spin cycle

Lots of possibilities to check out before considering a problem with the machine: Is the load unsorted, too big or off balance? Drain restricted or too high? Oversudsed? Water draining completely out before going into spin?
