Just double click on the printer icon on the extre right corner of ur computor near the clock then right click on the active print job and select cancel .ur print job will stop

go to settings and go to printers find printer and click on printer picture. Printer queue show show print job click on this and select stop print . MAy need to right click on print job to find stop or delete option. May have a printer symbol on right hand bottom of screen shortcuts that will go into the printer queue also !
This is a common problem with Windows machines. If a print job gets corrupted in the print que it will stop and block all other jobs from printing. It will also block the job from being deleted normally. You have to stop the print que service and then delete the print jobs from the que. Here is a link to a full article that shows how to stop the que, delete the print jobs and restart the que to restore printing.

1) press Pause button ..if reqrd continue..its the left button
2) want to stop the print mode...switch of printer & switch on the data in the memory gets errased
Not an expert on this but have 4 printers doing constant print jobs for customers.

To stop your printer from printing while printing press stop or cancel in your printer control center. Also you can click stop or pause on your computer print dialog box,
1-right click on top of the printer
2- click pause on current job printing

first if its happening from few days than go for system restore - start - all programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.. select that date on which it worked fine.. or else add printer and install deskjet 990c and than try
to delete the print job.
shut off the printer, disconnect the printer cable to the computer.
go to strat>>printer and faxes.
open the pirnter queue. stop the print job then delete. you may have to restrat the computer.
once the job is deleted, connect the printer cable back to the computer and turn on the printer.
Try purging the 3 pending print jobs then try to print again. Go to Printer and Faxes on XP, then right click on your printer icon then select purge print jobs. Or double-click on the printer icon on your system tray (lower right hand of the screen) then click on the pending print jobs then purge it. Then try to print again.
