Insignia DVD player code for remote

It would be helpful to have the model number for your 3-in-One remote. However, most of the codes are common for your Apex DVD player. These are codes a RadioShack Remote for an Apex DVD player. 0672, 0717, 0755, 0794, 0795, 0796, 0797, 083. Press the button for DVD on your remote. Then press and hold the Program button until it blinks. then, enter your 4-digit code, after entering, the Program button will blink. Aim the remote at the DVD and press the Power button on the remote. If the DVD turns off, then the remote is programmed for the DVD player. If not, repeat instructions and enter another code, until one is found that will turn off the DVD when the power button is pressed.You can also download an owners manual from RadioShack.com with the model number of your unit.

Where the code is listed as [### ###] the first is for the DVD and the second is for the VCR. Otherwise just the one code operates both the DVD and the VCR
Direct Code Entry

1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand

In the manual there is not insignia dvd or vcr code but you can search for it using the remote.

If your TV, VCR, DVD, or Cable Box does not respond after you have tried all the codes for your brand, or if your brand is not listed, try searching for your code by following the steps below
1. Turn on the device you wish to program.
2. Press and hold CODE SEARCH until the INDICATOR LIGHT lights, then release CODE SEARCH.
3. Press and release the device button for the device you are programming (TV, VCR/DVD or DBS/CABLE). The INDICATOR LIGHT will blink once then remain lit.
4. Press and release OFF/ON until your device turns off. Important: You may have to press OFF/ON up to 200 times. 5. When your device turns off, press the ENTER button, the INDICATOR LIGHT will go off.

You may have missed a step in the procedure try this one. I hope this information help you with your problem. 1.- Power on with no DVD inside the player; 2.- Press open on the DVD player; 3.- Press Menu button on DVD (or SETUP on remote control), (you see General Setup Page on the screen); 4.- Press the right key 3 times to select the Preference Page; 5.- On the remote control press 9653; 6.- Use the up and down key to select the Region, Select 0 for all regions; 7.- Press Enter. (This works with NS-7PDVD and NS-8PDVD)

Unfortunately, the RCA 15-2104 does not have a code for Cody brand DVD players. The list of codes can be found at the following web address:

Since there is no published code for Cody brand devices, I recommend using the CODE SEARCH function. Here's how:

1) Turn on the DVD player
2) Press the DVD key on the remote
3) Hold down P until the red light blinks twice
4) Press 9-9-1 (the red light will then blink twice).
5) Slowly alternate between pressing the DVD key and the POWER key - when the device turns off, that means the remote has found a code for the DVD Player and should then operate it.

With device turned on press DVD button on insignia remote then press and hold setup until the red led light blinks twice. enter code and it should blink twice again. press power button to check if code took. If not, try another code.
