Get your iPod in a bag of rice, and keep it there for maybe a few days, it should **** out all the moisture, hopefully it wasn't on when it was dropped in, but give it a shot.

How do you adjust the clip so the water level increases?

You don't adjust the clip as it attaches to the pipe to automatic turn off the water at the right level, but your water may be set at to high a level that it overflows into the bowl. When that happens you can do 2 things to correct it: 1 at the wall where the cold water comes out to the toilet you can adjust it to slow the supply of water to a little less. 2. You can adjust the screw inside tank to tighten (turning screw one way) to adjust water level to shut off quicker or adjust tank screw the other way to fell take water up higher. Flush the toilet and observe the power of the flush. Allow the tank to fill until the water shuts off. Repeat the procedure to adjust the float and water level, if desired.

So my ipod fell in the toilet about three days ago and it works and all but the light doesn't turn on! and the button in the middle (to got back) doesn't aether. what can i do !!? oh and it had a cracked...

The cracked screen means you need to change the screen but since this unit is somewhat water tight the damage done is less. But it will be good to have the unit dried properly , the circuit board cleaned of any moisture or dirt and the display changed. The water or dirt logging is making the button inactive and hence the cleaning must be done without delay.

IPod touch Digital Media Player: my grandson dropped by Ipod touch in the toilet! t...

Well the screen can be fixed by sending it to apple or one of many other repair shops. The water is the hard part. Your best bet is to fill a zip lock bag with dry rice and put your ipod inside and leave it for a week and maybe the rice will pull the moisture out. Water is a killer but once it dries out, you might be lucky. In the end it may cost more to repair than its worth.

Verizion LGvx5400 fell in toilet

Hi,
The main effect of water is on the motherboard of the cellphone.
In case, it has not affected the working of cellphone/motherboard inside that, you can keep the cell in dry temperature for  few hours, you can use a dryer or you can open the lcd/screen panel and you can also use soft cotton to keep it dry.
Thanks for using Fixya.

My ipods brightness doesnt work is very dim when i turn the brightness up or down nothing happens the screen just stays very dim all the time i restored the ipod and still the same

Well as you probably figure, you're back light has probably crapped out. However I would reset it by holding both the menu and center buttons at the same time until you see an apple appear on the screen. If the back light does not come on then, try the settings one more time. If there is still no backlight at this point; I would go ahead and connect it to your computer and restore it using itunes. Sadly if you still cannot resolve your issue at this point you will probably want to call apple tech support about it at 1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273) If your still under warranty they should cover all expenses on the repair or replacement. (Just don't admit to any kind of accidental damage)

I pod got wet wont work

Ipon the ipods case up. then Put the ipod in a zip lock bag full of uncooked raw white rice. seal the bag and leave it in there for 2 days. rice absorbs water. it should dry it up.
dont try to plug the ipod in or it will fry the circuit and you will destroy it.
If you need to know how to open an ipod case go to my website.

Our toto toilet wont flush the water down. We plunged it to no avail, then we ran drain clearing baloons it wouldnt clear out. we keep removing the water with plastic pots. So we can try something else....

Sounds like something is either in the bowl stuck or down in the waste line. I would probably pull the toilet and pour water down the waste line to see if it backs up or set the toilet up on something and pour water into the bowl to see if it comes out. At least it will help to find out where the problem is. Have you lost anything recently that might have fell in the toilet. Did something come off of the plunger and get stuck in the bowl?

Fell in water tank

If you can remove or disconnect the battery and let your ipod dry inside an air conditioned room for a week then if it will work you are lucky enough.

Once it is wet water will cause somewhat of a short circuit but if you were able to remove the power from the gadget sooner you might be able to save it. Good luck!
