I have a high end Yamaha digital keyboard instrument (their best). I have a pair of Yamaha powered 80watt proaudio speakers built in the 90s and they sound great as to high and mids, but I want more bass without spending $1000.
I saw the Pyramid 1586X and think that will take the power. If I use a crossover that fits and build a speaker box for it, will it give me the quality bass sound I want to fill the 30HZ to 100HZ that seems to be rather weak.
Would this or something similar provide what is needed?
Thanks
Do yourself a favor do not get anything Pyramid they are cheap for a reason and you will not get good bass response from them even in a optimal enclosure. If you want nice bass for little money go with lanzar opti 1535D sub you can pick one up for around $265 and will blow away Pyramid any day.
