My PT-47WX sat in storage for 6 months and when we turned it on the picture is very dark. I have tried adjusting all the levels but it is as if the bulbs are not as bright. Any ideas?

good day , it needs to replace all bulb to resume the brightness of tv.

Convergence problem...causing the TV to shut down. Goto www.TvRepairKits.com and get one of their fixes.

Can you post how many blinks the power indicator is blinking as that is an error code such as 3 blinks means Convergence circuits.

thats the error code for the convergence ICs. Replace both STK392-110 Convergence Ics and the 2.2 ohm resistors. You can get the Panasonic rear projection Convergence repair kit #1 at the following link which contains the two ICs and all six resistors plus step by step instructions with pictures so you can do the repair yourself.

Hi,
3 times LED blinks in Panasonic PT-47WX42 shows problem with convergence out chips failure as this tv has two big black ICs STK392-110 as convergence output, replace them to fix tv problem.
Click Part Store to see an image of required chip and price info.
Local tv tech is recommended if you have no experience of working in tv circuit boards.

Hello I have a Panasonic PT47WX53G and when I turn it on the red led (Power) comes on and then blinks 5 times, then it turns Off. After a few seconds the red led turns on again blinking 5 times. This cycle repeats until I unplug the TV.
