double vision in a rear projection tv has several reasons. one is convergence magnets are out of tune. u need to tune them which is back side of picture tubes. u please observe that which color is producing the double vision. the lens are firmly fixed & therefore need not to adjust. other option is to adjust the convergence of tv by going to service mode by remote.

Problem with the Samsung HC-P4363W 43 in. TV/DVD Combo TV shows partialy double vision in blue color.
The tv have a problems,known as a convergence problems,it is dead.Tv have colors lines R,G,B mis alignments,have colors shadow pictures or 3D picture look alike?Yes.The tv convergence board it is dead.The tv convergence board must require replacing 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.Fixed the tv convergence board to solved the tv convergence picture problems.The tvs shops will cost u like $300-350 for parts and labors.

My t.v.focus is like double vision and the color is not right.
convergence failure that tv has 3 CRTs-cathode ray tube- and it has a circuit that keeps each picture projected from the tubes aligned together called convergence. so if you have a picture that has 3 pictures of the same image in red green and blue then it is defintely a convergence failure. the part numbers of the parts causing the failure are STK394-160 and there also can be some burnt resistors in the same circuit.

My sony kp57ws510 model tv has double vision and the double vision that shouldnt be there is in blue and red..whats wrong with my tv?

My RCA, HDTV projection screen tv is showing double red and green
Ur tv have a convergence problems,it dead.The 2 STK convergence ICS are defective,must be change and it supporting resistors.The shop will fix it for u for $300-350 for parts and labors.

I have a 57 inch zenith hd tv and just recently i started to get a double picture and i was told it wasnt the picture tube what could it be.
No it ie not the picture tube thereis a module inside the tv that needs to be replaced. convergence module it's about $100.00

Picture Problem!! and its not convergence (Double vision except for middle of screen)
Could be pin correction circuit or your picture tubes could be worn out . Sometimes when the crt's get weak the edges seem not as clear as the center of the screen . Give model number if you think the pin correction may be your problem but, the tv is pretty old and avg. life for them is 12 to 15 years when the picture tubes start to degrade . Good luck
