If you are comfortable taking the cover off, you can try removing the cover and remove the dvd's yourself.

IF you are not comfortable removing the cover then, you can try to take a credit card (Actually, if you have any of those JUNK credit cards that the CC companies send out as trial offers, those work the best, and who cares if you bend those, they get tossed anyway) and bend an edge at a 90 degree.. (about 1/8" of the edge) so it makes like a small ledge. try to fit it inbetween the top of the door, and then see if you can open it up. Some players have a seperate door, and some trays are attached to the door. You might be able to help it out or unjam the tray this way.
And in the Future, with any other CD/DVD Players, use your remote control or the open and close button to open and close the tray, and NEVER Push on the tray itself. If I had a dollar for every dvd player tray that Ive fixed because of this, I would be buying bill gates dinner. (not really, but you get my point)
Good luck.
Mac =)

Why is the VHS eject button stuck on my samsung v1000?

Button stuck - not cassette stuck in the player? If there is a cassette stuck, the machine has to be opened to get the tape out.

I have a new samsung bd-f5700 player and tray won't open. Tried using the remote to open & the panel on top of player to open. Nothing works.

First, try resetting your player. Unplug it from wall for at least 1 full minute, then plug it back in. If eject function (remote or top panel) still doesn't work:

MOST DVD players (including every one I have ever worked on or owned) have a tiny manual eject pinhole located close to the tray. You may have to gently open the flip door to see it. It is usually to the right of the disc slot, but could be underneath or elsewhere close by (use a flashlight, it can be hard to see). Carefully insert a straightened paper clip in the pinhole to eject the disc. (It shouldn't matter if machine is on, but for safety I usually do this with the machine OFF and unplugged).

or

and http://www.ehow.com/how_6330619_retrieve-jammed-cd-dvd-player.html

If above fails, your only recourse is likely the disassembly of the machine (search "dvd disc stuck" on Google or YouTube), or taking your machine to a repair person. Best of luck to you.

Hi there. A DVD got stuck in the machine and would not eject. I got it out but the dvd player will not let me put a dvd in it. The screen is fine, but the DVD player acts like there is something in it...

Around the slot for the dvd you should notice a small pinhole. Take a opened paperclip and insert it into the hole and it should reset and start working for you as long as no internal damage was done.Let me know if this helps

Our Samsung DVD-H1080 DVD Player wont open, we've had it for a while, but the place where it opens is stuck, help??

Are you using the remote or touch button on case to eject tray?
Sometimes the top lid gets warped and prevents the tray from opening. Press eject and lift the front part of the lid at the same time.

DVD will not Eject

answer - had the same issue turned out to be 3 dvds in it, Remove the 4 screws holding the dvd player to the roof. wire harness will hold it up. There is an fm transmitter on top held on by three screws. remove the little screws and push the transmitter to the side. you winn now see the stuck dvds. push the extras out with a small screw driver. once they are out the eject button will eject the last dvd.
just worked for me hope this helps.

Can't open dvd drawer

Hi,

try putting a Blunt knife into the top of the dvd drawer, or where you can get a knife in.
And gently prise the drawer open whilst pressing eject on the Player.
Failing this, you will have to *****disconnect from the mains***** remove the screws on the rear of the casing, remove the top cover, and take out the DVD Disk.
Replace then plug back in, to check if the player is Ok.

**** Only remove the casing if you feel competant**** And if the player has no guarantee Or Warranty****
