My HP Officejet d145 scans to attachment in the format of "tif" only. How can I scan the attachment in other format like PDF, JPEG etc. Pls advice. Tks. My email : [email protected]
I know in my scanner before saving the file I have to choose the type of format either "tif/pdf/jpeg. But my scanner can only scans into the format "tif" only without other format like pdf and jpeg to choose.
Can you tell me , how to solve this problems?

The HP SCANNER SPECS say:
Scan file format
Bitmap (.bmp), JPEG (.jpg), PNG (.png), TIFF (.tif), PDF (.pdf), Searchable PDF (.pdf), Text (.txt), Rich Text (.rtf).
That means it is supported. What you can try is to try and uninstall ("Programs and Features in Windows) the Adobe PDF program and get the free one to install again from: http://www.adobe.com/products/reader.html
If it still doesn't work (links itself into Windows and the HP software), try reinstalling the HP software or go to HP.COM and you can download the latest full-version file for your 4625 printer.
I can help you create a new jpeg file. Open the TIF with Paint program in windows and the save as "Picture_name.jpeg". Once you do that you will have your original file and the new jpeg file that you can edit, and still have the org. unharmed.
You may need to purchase a scanner to get a PDF like Acrobat Reader. But if you managed to save to PDF before, try to reinstall the software and add software and choose OCR. Most of the HP PDF capablility is together with its OCR software.
OK well sometimes ya can't scan to PDF as is. What you can do though is scan as say JPEG and convert it to PDF with a PDF converter
Use this..www.dopdf.com/ Of course you can get programs like Adobe Professional that will scan straight to PDF.
