Water damage to microwave

There is a small sensor in the micro wave that controls the heat. You probably got water on the connections and shorted it out.

My recently purchased Rival RGST902 microwave stopped heating. Everything else works, it just will not heat.

HELLO.

The first wayout is to consider WARRANTY.If the microwave is under warranty return it to the point of purchase to enjoy warranty right. But if the microwave is not under warranty another wayout is needed.

Below is the solution on how to make our microwave heat food.

1 Remove oven racks and place them in soapy water to soak.

2 Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

  • 3 Turn the oven off and spray the inside with oven cleaner.

  • 4 Allow to sit for 10 minutes.

  • 5 Wipe the cleaner and dirt away with a damp sponge, rinsing frequently.

  • 6 Dry with a soft cloth.

  • Thanks.

Our Kenmore microwave oven recently stopped heating. The lights, turning plate and controls all work but with no cooking is occurring. The last time I attempted to heat something up I heard a cracking...

The most likely cause is a bad magnetron, "heats food" the other two possibilities are the high voltage capacitor and diode. The cost to repair will a approach a new microwave oven.

MY MICROWAVE IS NOT GETTING HOT INSIDE EVERY THING ELSE SEEMS TO WORK FINE I REPLASED FUSE I THINK ITS THE CAPACITOR

could be the capacitor but also could be the magnetron which is a common problem with heating and one of the main sources of heating.... everything will work with a bad magnetron also it just will not heat... common problem with these... to test the capacitor you will need a meter that test microfarads or mfd good luck to you ....

Everything seems to be working except it won't heat anything it just suddenly stopped heating.

Did anything spill or blowup inside? Remove the glass tray and be sure all is clean and dry.
If something did blow up (food or liquid), find the small mica window on the inside, and carefully remove it, clean up, dry off in the cavity too, and replace it.
Try to use. This has fixed 3 different microwaves for me. Hope it helps you.

Whirlpool gold gh5184xpb Everything seems to be working but it doesn't heat. If you use the buttons for popcorn or dinner plate, an error message F3H appears. Recently got a wireless router in our home...

its very unlikley to be the wireless router,,,
things like this just happen,,,i would say the magnatron had gust given up the ghost, thats the part that gets the food hot,,,safest bet is have it looked at but get ready to buy a new unit as its likley to be the cheepest way out
please dont go poking about inside your microwave,,
it will still have 1000's of volts inside it,,, these volts will kill you if you tuch the wrong part,,be warned!!!

Everything appears to work fine but it is not heating anymore.

If the microwave oven appears to be working but it is not heating the food, it is very possible that the magnetron, or its power supply has failed.

    Microwave will not heat

If all controls on the panel work fine but the microwave does not heat, then either you have a defective door switch, the smartboard is defective, or you have a defective magnatron. Most likely one of those three.
