Nokia 6275: I have a problem with my Nokia 6275. I noticed that the "headset" icon is displayed on the screen of my phone and it can't be removed. As far as I know, the icon will only appear on screen if the headset is connected to the phone. But in my case, I am not connecting any device on my phone, and the icon is there. So what happens now is that I can't hear calls. I am not even able to make any calls, Can you please help.

Just refer the image and clean it ..... after that you will know . Tested.

what you will do,you will press*#7780# then it will want your password,then you will put your password and wait few minuts,if your ph take restart automaticaly, then ok, other wise you will restart your ph manualy

I have encountered with the same problem with my Nokia 6630. This may happen if somehow your phone is damaged by water or your cell is experiancing a extermly humid environment. So do one of the following:

1. Switch off your cell. Remove battery and put it some time in direct sun light. If possible your headset jack facking sun face. You can also use your table lamp. Just bend it to cover phone.
2. You can also use your hair drier. Just blow the hot air towards your phone.

The headset icon always appear in my nokia n70 and cannot remove and when i connect my headset ... it doesn't work . with or without headset the headset icon always appear in my screen .

maybe you had your phone wet on the bottom part where the headset is to be plugged in. bring it to the nearest repair shop for the just to clean the metal contacts then, your icon will be gone

There might be some problem with head phone socket...or related circuit..so it is better u take it to service center...

The phone came with a headset. Plug the headset in and out a few times; it should reset the headset icon and phone can be used regularly again

If factory settings didn't work,this will SURELY help:

1.Turn off your phone..

2.Press and hold three keys, i.e. Green Button(call answer key) + " * " button + " 3 " button and while holding the buttons boot the phone..

3.Hold till the phone shows the Nokia Logo/formatting screen..

The problem will be solved for sure..
