The macro mode is for taking pictures of subjects very close to the camera. In this mode the flash is disabled.
There's a slide switch on the side of the camera, near the USB socket. Slide it away from the flower and toward the mountain to take the camera out of macro mode.

SOURCE: When i try to turn my flash on it says Macro Mode

You're in macro mode and the flash won't function. Check your manual to find out how to get out of macro mode. Most cameras have a button or a dial with a picture of a flower representing macro mode. Find that and change it.

When I try to turn my flash on it says macro mode, What is this and how do I fix it?

Macro mode is for taking pictures of subjects very close to the camera. In this mode the flash is disabled.

Without knowing the model of your Digital Concepts camera I can't tell you how to take it out of macro mode. If there's a button on the back marked with a flower icon, press it. Otherwise look in the menu.

You can't use the flash in macro mode. Macro mode is for taking pictures of objects close to the camera.

To switch out of macro mode, slide the switch on the left of the camera, just above the USB port, away from the flower icon toward the mountain icon.

How do I set the camera to Macro and can I turn

Page 16 of the user manual explains how to set up the camera for the macro mode. If you are using regular macro mode then you would also need to set the flash mode to off if you do not want it to fire automatically (page 15 of the user manual refers how to disable the flash). If you are using the super macro mode then the flash would be set to off by default.

Use of macro digital feature

hi,let me just inform u that the macro mode is only for outdoors. So on the side of the camera u will find a sliding switch.Just slide it to the opposite direction to turn off the macro mode.Since u wanted to take pictures of jewelry pieces, turn on the flash if u have one and then take a closeup shot with good lighting conditions. If its too bright then use only the flash,if u r not satisfied with the quality then use only lights and then take a pic.Still face any prob plz get back to me.
