SOURCE: system error

Hi, my camera has been doing this for two years off and on, more often lately. I also found the lens sticking when vacationing somewhere warm and humid and tropical. I ususally fix it by gently pushing on the lens as I turn it off. It may take several times for the camera to correct itself. I found this website hoping to find a better solution to this problem, too, it sounds like the only solution is to upgrade to a new camera. Too bad, I love my 4300 and have been very happy with the photos taken. But, having a camera that can take 7mp and up is attractive and for the price of repairing this one. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: memory card locked!

There is alittle slide on the memory card.
Take it out. Look for it. Depending what you have it may be yellow, look on the left. If it's down, slide up and it will be unlocked. :)

SOURCE: Memory Card Error after Formating memory card

instead of quick format, use the full format.  Then put back in your camera and format again with the camera.

Camera is mn35z. the message states mode dial indefinite and then shuts off.

It sounds like your camera, the Nikon Coolpix MN35Z, is experiencing an error with the mode dial. The "mode dial indefinite" error message indicates that the camera is unable to recognize the position of the mode dial. This can be caused by a variety of issues, such as a malfunctioning mode dial, a damaged mode dial, or a problem with the camera's internal components.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:
  1. Make sure the mode dial is not damaged or stuck. If the mode dial is stuck or damaged, it may not be able to move freely, causing the error message to appear.
  2. Check the camera's battery and memory card. If the battery is low or the memory card is full or damaged, the camera may not be able to operate properly.
  3. Try resetting the camera. To do this, remove the battery and memory card, wait a few minutes, and then reinsert the battery and memory card.
  4. If the problem persists, the camera may need to be repaired by a professional. It is recommended to contact the manufacturer or an authorized service center for further assistance.

I am unable to take photo because of DCF full Erros come often ES30

This is what the manual says:
File names do not match the DCF standard.
Transfer the files on the memory card to your
computer, and then format the card. (p. 76)
Format in the camera, not in a cardslot of your computer.
Lots of errors, can be solved by removing and reinserting the battery(ies)

Unable to view photos i have taken, Screen says Read Error

If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

Unable to delete call logs in my nokia 7230

Try a reboot by removing the battery along with the Sim card. Replace them and power the handset up, this should solve your problem, if not you may need to do a soft reset as explained below.

Basic Reset or Soft Reset for Nokia 7230 Mode This option restores the .ini files from the ROM.
Does not erase data (photos, videos, documents) or applications from
a third party. Key Code *# 7780 # (click this combination of keys on the
keyboard in the mobile)

Important: To proceed to reset, the battery must be full and the
mobile device connected to the charger. If during the course of reset,
the mobile stop receiving electricity it can ruin the internal flash
memory of the mobile device and stop function.

Problem with deleting photo from memory card

If the image has not been "Protected" to prevent erasure it sounds like it has become corrupted on the card. Suggest you save all images you wish to keep to your computer then Format the card (Erases ALL images) in your Camera. Hope this solves the problem.

Camera fault

The little "r" number lets you know how many more photos you can take in a row before you have to let the camera catch up by writing image files to your memory card that have been placed in the cameras buffer.  Shoot as fast as you can and watch the "r" number get smaller and smaller until it reaches 0.
