Logitech Profiler does not detect my logitech dual action gamepad, why? I have a computer that uses vista 64bit.

Hi, Please uninstall any LGPS version present on your OS - Then please proceed to clean boot. -> Unplug any USB devices connected to the computer ( Less keyboard + mouse ) If you have a corded keyboard + mouse please use it rather than a cordless device. -> Go to device manager -> Delete all the USB HOST CONTROLLER -- All of them -- -> The host controller might reinstall them itslef, let the computer handle the reinstallation -> If the computer does not reinstall the host controllers, trigger the detection using the DM function " Scan for new hardware " ( The computer with magnifier icon ) -> Once reinstalled, clean boot -> Reinstall the software, plug the hardware when needed. -> Should work.
If a device as been previously flagged with error, it will redetect the device without the flag, unless there is some serious issue with the hardware/OS
If the problem persist, swap computer and try, if it does not solve then contact customer service for replacement

Most latest games for PC do not support Logitech gamepads by default. There are various reasons to it, but using Logitech's Profiler software you can get your gamepad to work with any game. Logitech controller not detecting logitech dual
you need to run the detection wizard again. On 64 bit Windows Vista the path is:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\WMDrivers\WMWizard.exe
This fixed my problem. I hope it helps you.

I don't know how to use the logitech to play a online game
Open the Logitech Profiler.
Make a new profile, name it browser and point it towards the executable file for your web browser(I have only done this with firefox).
Save the profile and then use the profiler to open your web browser by clicking Play browser.
From here you should be able to set up the controls to use the web.

Before i buy!
Alright I dont know much about that game, but with logitech gamepads you can use profiler softwares that let you use gamepads in games. You have to assign commands in the profiler for that. There are many available: Xpadder, Joy2key, Pinnacle Game profiler and specially made for logitech, the Logitech Game Profiler. I am familiar with logitech profiler and I help people make profiles for their games.

I just checked this game on youtube and looks like I can make a profile for it. Let me know if you decide to buy dual action and I will reply with your profile with instructions. I will give you a download link.

I have the logitech dual action gamepad, is it going to be compatible with windows vista, if not, what should i do, i just paid 30 bucks????
Dont worry you can use it. I dont know what exactly your question is, but if you want to use it to play games, yes it will work. You will need a profiler software to play games. Some of them are Xpadder, Joy2key, Pinnacle Profiler and for logitech only theres Logitech Game Profiler. For pinnacle you have to buy, but its rating is good.

I use Logitech Game Profiler so I am familiar with making game profiles on that. I help people make profiles for their games. If you need any help, let me know. Here are some profiles for the start. They are with instructions. Work for all logitech pc gamepads.

Logitech game controller not working with Vista
Your gamepad can work in almost any game. All you need is a profiler software, which you already have, and you need to assign commands to gamepad's buttons so you can play a game with it. Some games support gamepads by default; in that case you dont have to do anything. But in many cases you have to set it up yourself.

Logitech gamepad
similar problem: I have Vista Ultimate, downloaded and instaled Logitech Profiler 5.01.256. It recognizes game pad ok but I can not configure keystrokes (it is grey out as if not detected) and axis as well. Any idea what to do? Thanks
