I have a Samsung HLT5076SX/XAA. The TV will attempt to turn on 3 times and then give the three blinking lights that is supposed to signify a bulb replacement. I have done this and the same thing happens with it still giving the bulb replacement error. I have read peoples comments about the color wheel. Mine makes a slight buzzing noise when it is attempting to turn on, but not near as loud as I have heard described. Also, if it actually is the color wheel would this prevent the lamp from even coming on. One more thing, after three failed attempts, you have to manually unplug the tv....please help!!!
I have the The TV never comes on the 1st attempt, sometimes 2nd. It Usually must be unplugged 1 to 3 times and makes noises powering up and down. Once on the picture is fine though. Sometimes control buttons stop working and I must unplug to turn off and start again. Did you find out how to fix?I have the The TV never comes on the 1st attempt, sometimes 2nd. You may have to blow out the dust (if any) inside the set (a common reason). Or if the picture scrambles up any before going out you may need to replace the color wheel. And it is possible the fan could be breaking down or slowing down and causing overheating which will make the thermal switch to cut the set off.
I have a Samsung DLP HLN617WX/XAA. After turning off by itself, the three indicator lights were blinking... signifying a defective lamp. I've re-seated the old lamp several times with no change. I bought a new lamp and reset the lamp hours through the "service menu" with no change. My television is still turning itself off and still blinking the same indicator lights. What should I look at, next?
Does these LED indicator lights that blinks? It is one of the LED light said lamp or bulb? The tv been used alots, and it at lest 2 years.U have not change the tv lamp or bulb to this tv?Change it,life of the lamp it over.
If you do not hear the color wheel start to spin inside of light engine this may have failed also check to make sure fans are working and safety switch is making contact
Manual says you need to replace the lamp:
When do I need to replace it?
• It should be replaced when the screen becomes darker, less clear or when all three LEDs on the front (STAND BY/TEMP, LAMP, and
TIMER) are flashing
