Realistic pro 2021 squelch problem

Nope... seems that since Radio Shack folded up it's tents almost all of the old links have dried up! And GEE, I had one of these scanners but have no idea where it is now?

You might have the squelch turned up too high so the broadcast cannot break the squelch open. Here's an instruction manual (with how-to) for your scanner. Seems easy. Also make sure you have a good antenna so you can pick up signals.

If it does not say digital on the scanner the answer is no. If it does, most likely it is a trunking system and will require programming using software and a computer.

With volume turned up, turn the squelch till silent, push scan, ..hope this helps..........

frequency may not be accurate. get the correct frequency your tuning in to. could be off a few digits. then readjust your squelch.

your scanner will have to have some crystals put in it that are specifically for the signals you wish to scan. go to any radio shack store or scanner store with your scanner and they will gladly assist you.

i ha ve realistic 2032 which is doing the same thing and was wondering because everything else including all the functions work fine including hearing white noise and being able to control it with the squelch could this be the end for it or is there stuff yet to do
