Most universal AC adapters do not put out enough amperage, the Akai LCT2070 needs a 5amp 12v power supply. These adapters are available for $14 here:

Hi.Please check the fuse of your television.Try to remove the back cover of the TV and find the fuse its located at the back of the board near the ac cord connection to the board then replace the same value of fuse.

The power cord is easy, radio shack or similar.
The remote is more of a problem, you could try a learning remote or see if there is one on ebay or akai

I would look online and see if you can buy a new power cord. That is your problem. that same thing happened to my laptop a few months ago.

I recently bought a used LCT2060 that had no remote. I figured my comcast cable remote would work without a problem but it didn't. So 3 universal remotes later I found my solution...a radio shack universal gamer remote. It controls up to 5 components plus your xbox360, playstation and pc. The price on sale was a mere 12.97, not bad if you ask me. Hope this helped. The code that worked for the Akai was 11676. Take care...

you can get these on ebay i know the power supplys are as cheap as 34 dollars. But the remote you can look for there to but i havent been successful finding one for mine probley cause i dont know what it looks like cause i bought this tv as a demo so they did not have a remote. Hope this helps.
