My Roadmate turns on but can't get past the loading screen.I've waited over a half hour and it just keeps going in a circle
Hello :
I recommend you to reset your RoadMate .
To reset your RoadMate please follow these steps :
1: Locate the button marked "Reset" on the left, right or bottom of the
unit.
2: Using a thin object, such as a paper clip, depress the button for two to
three seconds. The unit should reset.
3:If the unit does not reset, immediately press the button again and hold
it for up to 10 seconds.
NOTE : Please don't attempt to perform a factory reset on the Roadmate or Maestro GPS
units by holding down both the "Reset" and "Power" buttons. This will
cause the GPS unit to format its own hard drive. Doing so will erase all
data, including the GPS software, from the unit.
This solution should help with your problem . If that didn't help , then I recommend you call Magellan service for help .
