Hello :

Try this solution please :

1:Enter your four-digit personal identification number that you used to lock your Garmin GPS. When your Garmin GPS is locked, you need to enter the four-digit PIN every time you turn the device on.

2:Drive to the security location that you set when you locked your Garmin GPS. Turn your Garmin GPS on and pull the GPS antenna up so that your GPS is able to acquire the satellite. Once your GPS recognizes that you are at your security location, it will unlock itself.

3:Contact Garmin if you forgot your PIN and security location. You will need to send your GPS to Garmin to have it unlocked. You will also need to send a valid product registration or proof of purchase for Garmin to unlock your GPS. Call Garmin at (800) 800-1020 and get the shipping address and specific instructions from an authorized Garmin representative.

Inverse cos of 52 degrees

The cosine of 52 degrees is about .6157 . The inverse cosine of .6157 is 52 degrees.

52 degrees is a measure of an angle. .6157 is a distance. The cosine of an angle results in a distance, while the inverse cosine of a distance results in an angle. There is no such thing as the inverse cosine of an angle, just as there is no such thing as the cosine of a distance. It's like asking "How heavy is one hour?"

If you're asking how to calculate a cosine or inverse cosine on your calculator, please specify the make and model of the calculator.

A tree on a hillside casts a shadow 215 ft. down the hill.if the angle of inclination of the hillside is 22 degrees to the horizontal and the angle of elevation of the sun is 52 degrees ,find the height of...

x is the height of tree, y and z are as denoted in picture:

elessaelle_0.png
  1. cos(22°)=y/215==>y=cos(22°)*215=199.3 ft
  2. sin(22°)=z/215==>z=sin(22°)*215=80.5 ft
  3. tan(52°)=(x+z)/y==>x+z=y*tan(52°)=255.1 ft
  4. x=255.1-z=255.1-80.5=174.6 ft

I just could used the nCr and nPr....the answers are always 0

Make sure you use the larger number for n. If r is larger than n, then you will always get 0. For example, to determine the number of possible five-card poker hands, calculate 52 C 5 and not 5 C 52.

How do I do a factorial problem on a TI-30XA? for example 52!/5!

Two easy ways.

  1. You can use the factorial function, which is the shifted function of the 3 key. Calculate 52! and divide it by 5!.
  2. You can use the nPr function, which the is the shifted function of the 9 key. 52!/5! is 52 nPr 47 (47 is 52-5).

When i am trying to do the function... 52 choose 56 (52 2nd nCr 56 =) i keep getting 0.. the nCr button seems to not be working properly

You're getting the correct answer. There are no ways of getting 56 items out of 52. Think about dealing 56 cards out of a deck of 52. It can't be done.

Now, if you want to pick 52 items out of 56, you can press
5 6 2nd nCr 5 2 =
and get the answer.

How to solve tan(52)=X / 18?

There is nothing special about the equation. tan(52) is just another number.
Isolate the unknown to get
X=18*tan(52)
I assume that the angle value is in degrees. To set it, press MODE 0 to use the usual computational mode, then set angle unit to degrees by pressing MODE 4.
Once this is done, type in
52 TAN * 18 =
