I have a BBQ Grillware GGPL-2100 that I had to take apart for a 2000-mile move. Is there anywhere I can get a picture, drawing or blowup of this grill to help me reassemble it?

You have a closed circuit switch somewhere. If depends on if you turn on the gas and in doing so it clicks and ignites, or whether you turn on the gas and and press a button where the battery is?

The battery ones are simple and just have a spring that keeps the battery and the contact apart. Make sure it is in the right way around.

For the type with microswitches, you would have to test each one with a multimeter.

If something is broken inside, it will need to be taken apart for repair. Before that, try the following:

1. Unplug it.
2. Move the selection lever from cold to hot and back several times. Be sure the lever will move full stroke smoothly. Put the selection lever in the center position.
3. While firmly pulling the draw outward, "snap" the draw upward.

If that does not work, it will need to be disassembled.

If this is a propane (LP) grill, it could be a sign that your regulator is going bad. Try replacing the regulator.

I tried a couple locations and found a site that might help go to psep.biz and it will direct you to the blowup. It also indicated that it needed a type number so have that handy. If this doesn't help let me know and I will research further.

I would start by looking at the cigarette lighter. Sometimes they build up such a large amount of corrosion that it actually can cause a draw on the battery.
