Upon turning on my HP Pavilion Media Center it freezes at logo.

Upon turning on my HP Pavilion Media Center TV PC M7360n, the blue logo screen with esc=Boot Menu F1= Directory (or something of the sort) and F10= System Recovery comes up and remains frozen in that position and no keys or any of the above mentioned buttons work. The only way to turn off computer is by removing power cable, and the computer does not recommence to the login screen, this is only as far as my computer gets. Any solutions or help would be appreciated!

Do you have the Restoration CD disk/s? When the computer is first turned on by the first owner, a window comes up asking if the user/owner would like to make a Backup Disk. This is the Restoration Disk. Sometimes, the computer manufacturer will include, the Restoration CD Disk/s with the computer. You can purchase the Restoration Disk from HP. The disk is free. The Shipping and Handling is not. $17 for a 5 to 7 day ship, $24 for a 2 to 3 day ship. Call HP Support's toll free 24-7 phone number, and request the disk. Be sure to write down the Product number beforehand, so you can tell the nice person on the phone. This number is on the back of your desktop computer, in a white Service Tag. 1-800-474-6836 http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/cont... Upon receiving the Restoration Disk, turn on your computer, insert it in an optical drive. (CD/DVD drive)

Press F10 and format the pc with inbuild pc recovery and if it does not works then format your pc using the recovery discs given to you by HP.

I have a HP Media Center PC M7360n had to replace dvd burner and media card now my speakers will not work drivers say every thing is working but I have no sound

What OS are you using? If this is a Vista machine, try to roll back the sound drivers. Vista is notorious for not being compatible with certain drivers and will set them to update if you use automatic updating. You could have installed a driver with replacement DVD burner / media card and they don't get along with a new or old sound driver. Check HP help and support online to see if they have newer driver for sound. And if you have sound card, check with manufacture for updated drivers.

I have a HP media center m7360n , with a 920 intel pentium D processor. I changed the video card which required a more powerful power supply. I upgraded the ram and changed the power supply out to be...

Open your computer casing where the motherboard lies in and then remove the memory card, your new video card and then reset the BIOS, refer to the motherboard manual on how to do it. After resetting, plug in the memory card and video card. Close the casing and connect all the wiring. Power up your computer.

Video is scrambled

It's probably something to do with your video card. The card could need replaced or there could be a bent pin in the plug. Check for the bent pins first.
