Start with a 12 volt light tester or you can just run new ones from your fuse box

Mitsubishi Eclipse Spider Gt-S I cannot figure out how to get the fascia panel and face plate off of the radio to get to the numbers needed to retrieve the radio code. How do I take the panels OFF?

Hi

The stereo in the Eclipse can be removed with nothing more than a Phillips screwdriver

Disconnect the negative battery cable from your Eclipse's battery. Remove the two Phillips screws along the bottom of the radio/climate control trim panel. Lift up the bottom of the trim panel to unlock the lower retaining clips. Work your fingers around the sides of the panel to loosen the other clips and remove the panel. Remove the four Phillips screws holding the stereo in place. Slide the stereo out of the dashboard and disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable from the back of the device.

Radiator fan is not kicking on when it should

First off, I would disconnect the power supply to the fan and let the engine heat up to operating temperature and use a simple volt meter (you can purchase one at walmart or any part store for $5-15) to see if any voltage is even getting to the fan, it is possible that the fan motor could have failed. Also, you can run a couple wires directly from the battery to the fan ( one for negative, one for positive) it shouldn't matter if you switch up which is which on the fan, as a DC motor will just spin in reverse if you swap the polarity. This will rule out the possibility of the fan.
