Brand new unit out of the box will not load or eject. screen displays "eject" and "loading" and it sounds like there is a motor running. please help!
I had my jensen three weeks everything was okay until all of sudden the unit wounld not load or eject CD's or DVD's
I bought a truck with a Jensen UV10 installed that wouldn't load or eject discs. I took it out and disassembled it until I found the problem. There is a grey rubber roller along the length of the disc slot which pushes and pulls the disc in and out. On the end of that roller shaft there is a small gear which fits against a larger white gear. The tab of plastic on the outside of the assembly that is supposed to keep the gears aligned is not secured very well, and can allow the large white gear to slip into the wrong spot and loose engagement with the roller gear. I used a small tip of a needle as a shim between the metal housing and the plastic tab so that it could not move beyond parameters. Use a small dab of epoxy to keep it in place. Works fine now.
When i pop out the screen it only works when its tilted way down seems like the ribbon is loose how do u fix it

Try Hard reseting your player first by unplugging all the cords for 30min and then plug it back.

i can hear hum like it wants to take cd or dvd but will not go into radio dvd does not work either can any one help with this the radio wporks fine and screen come out properly but cant play cd and when turned off and turned back on it comes in a 17 volume does anyone know this one too thanks mark
