Actually you can direct connect Three Amps from this particular mixer without needing to split the cables with Y shape connection splitters etc... The Pioneer DJM909 has TWO Master Outs and One Booth Out. One of the Masters Takes XLR Connections the Other Matsre and The Booth/Session out both take RCA connections.

I use the XLR outs to go directly into my Self Powered JBL Subwoofers and the RCA Master to go into an AMP to power my regular 3Way Speakers and the Booth out to a separate amp to power my monitors. I looked at the diagram of the 3000 and it too has the same three outputs so you too can easilly connect Three Amplifiers to your mixer.

You can connect one amp to the "master" output and the other to the "booth" output. You would then be able to adjust the volume of the amps independantly using the master and booth controls.

Hope this helps.

I currently have 3 amps connected to one mixer. All you need is to check where your amp is currently plugged into the mixer. now get yourself 2x RCA two way splitters at your local music shop (ie. One male to 2 female)split the channels from your mixer input, and an extra amp can be plugged into the spare plugs

SOURCE: hello. have a djm-909. CH-2 just stopped working.

There are solid state "N" type fuses / circuit protectors soldered to the circuit board.

Hope this helps.

Since it works with your other mixer, the DJM400 is probably fine. You have a ground loop.

Make sure ALL, and I do mean ALL... (re-read that if there is any confusion) interconnected equipment WILL BE powered from the same receptacle or source. If speakers or amps are powered from one place and the DJM is from the other end of the room you likely have a ground loop and you can ex[ect buzzing. Run extension cords alongside the audio leads if necessaryy to carry power from where the amps or speakers are plugged in back to the DJM400 and ANY pther connected equipment.

Does it buzz through cans? (headphones). Try listening on headphones (turn off any amps and speakers) on cue to each channel you use and to the master output. is it stil there? if so it's an all round earthing fault. If it's all good through the cans (sorry...I mean headphones), try it with the amp/s on again. If the buzz is back it souds like the screen on the main audio output connecters has come off inside.
It's a quick fix, but if you have never used a solder iron, take to someone who has.

How do i connect a pioneer djm 500 mixer to a dbx 215 equalizer

You can use either (2) XLR mic cables or (2) balanced 1/4" cables running from the Master Out of the djm 500 to the dbx 215. Then you connect your amp to the outputs of the dbx 215.
