YES! I solved this easily. At the back of the seat where the recline webbing straps are, there are two ends that have male end snaps on them that have female end snaps that are on the back square tubing of the frame. Simply undo those from the frame and add an extra male snap end about 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 inches (on center) down that strap so it can snap into itself. Then it is simple to wrap these around the upper round tubing, just over the bracket for the hood, and snap it back to itself on each side. Presto! It now sits more upright and all that was needed to do was to add that female snap end onto each of those loose straps. You can now even adjust the recline easier (with the snaps still on) or for a full recline, simply unsnap those straps and unbuckle the back and they are now nearly flat.
