Try updating the ipod software from the kenwood website, I had the same problem and it worked for me. My album artwork didnt work either until I updated the software.

The P.Con is the terminal that is connected to the (blue with white stripe) cable on the back of your head unit. If there is no (blue with white stripe) cable then there will be a (solid blue colored cable).
This connection is used to turn the amplifier on and off when you turn your head unit on or off. The power cable from the battery is to provide power and not to turn it on or off. Think of the P.Con as the ON / OFF of your amplifier.
If you are unsure of how everything else should be connected, then send me a list of what you have (models please) and i will help you out.
Hope this will help.

It is both dangerous and illegal to watch video while driving. I don't think FixYa would endorse such hacks. Please understand this lock is provided for the safety of the driver, passengers in the car and other vehicles and pedestrians.
Sorry :(

It looks like the unit has a code programmed into it in the past. If this unit is second hand try contacting the previous owner for the code. If it's new from the shop, then contact the shop. The last option is to contact Kenwood and they can reset the code for you. Unfortunately there is no other way...
