Go to RUN and type D:\i386\winnt.exe, (where D is your CD-ROM drive), to start Setup

If D isn't your CD/DVD drive change letter accordingly

Sorry I made a mistake try this:

To run Setup from MS-DOS, you can run Winnt.exe from the I386 folder on the Windows XP CD-ROM. Type drive:\i386\winnt.exe, where drive is your CD-ROM drive, to start Setup.

I set my admin account to limited user and i cant open it anymore..please help to retrieve this user account.thank you..

i assume you are using Windows XP.
try log off and login as "Administrator", if you remember the password. Try blank password first. if it doesn't show in the list, press Ctrl-Alt-Del twice and type it in.
if no joy, you can download this iso, burn it onto CDR as disk image, not data.
restart and boot from this CD, then you have the chance to change/reset/blank any user's password. but take care not to do other thing. follow the author's instructions.
good luck!

I am unable to connect my sony handycam with my laptop using window7. i tried to download usbdrven.exe driver from net but unable to install. please suggest

Find the setup.exe file in your downloaded program. Right-click it (setup, exe) and in the shell menu click "properties". Under compatibility check "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP w/Service Pack 2. Next plug your device into the computer and place it in "USB Streaming Mode".

If you are on Vista or Higher OS, try installing "Run as Administrator" for the program. Use the compatibility mode for installing older program.

I have it almost installed but before i can play the game my screen changes resloution and magnifies my windows then i get an alert box telling me that the organ trail game cant be installed then it closes...

Ahh i see.... Starting with windows 2000/XP. Windows no longer supports DOS... Im kinda sad about that myself D= but it doesnt end there for you my friend. Organ trail is a great game.

My tip is for you to get a program called DOS box from source forge. Simple google DOS BOX. Install the program and run the program from within dosbox. If you dont know how to run dos box simply drag the EXE you are trying to run into the window. Give it a try and it will work trust me. GL in the game....

To have multiregion

The procedure

1. Download the winsamp -package from Blank Frank's site (http://www.veg.nildram.co.uk/remote.htm).

This innovative piece of software allows you to send standard home electronics IR signals using a PC IRDA port.

2. Extract the package onto a bootable DOS floppy disk.

3. Download this IR code file and place it in the same directory as the package above.

This file holds the five necessary IR codes converted to the format used by Blank Frank's winsamp.exe. Please do not bother Frank with questions concerning this particular procedure.

4. Boot up your PC from the floppy disk and run winsamp.exe.

If your IRDA port doesn't appear as COM2 you may override this by using an appropriate command line switch. For example, use COM1 by running 'winsamp C1'.

5. Press the 'r' key to load up the codes into winsamp.

6. Make sure your DVD player is in standby mode and your IRDA port is within range.

7. Run the IR codes from 1 to 5 by pressing Enter on each corresponding button.

8. Your DVD player should start up and display the text "SUCCESS".

9. Repeat step 7. Your player should return to standby mode.

Your player is now multi-region.

Hp nc6230

hello there,

U can try booting into Safe mode with networking option.

If you log into a limited account on your target machine and open up a dos prompt
then enter this set of commands Exactly:
cd\ *drops to root
cd\windows\system32 *directs to the system32 dir
mkdir temphack *creates the folder temphack
copy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr *backsup logon.scr
copy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe *backsup cmd.exe
del logon.scr *deletes original logon.scr
rename cmd.exe logon.scr *renames cmd.exe to logon.scr
exit *quits dos
Now what you have just done is told the computer to backup the command program
and the screen saver file, then edits the settings so when the machine boots the
screen saver you will get an unprotected dos prompt with out logging into XP.
Once this happens if you enter this command minus the quotes
"net user <admin account name here> password"
If the Administrator Account is called Frank and you want the password blah enter this
"net user Frank blah"
and this changes the password on franks machine to blah and your in.
