I use a logitech mouse. I recent had some service

I use a logitech mouse. I recent had some service work done and now I can't get the mouse to work (work properly). It is a wireless mouse with the receiver with it. Is there any particular ports the receiver should be plugged? Anything else you feel I should know?

The only thing i can think of is if its usb you need to resynce the devices if you have tried that i cannot think of anything else :)
steven.
to resync them you just need to hit the button on the reciever (thing that connects to the computer) and hit the button on the bottom of the keyboard then go repeat the same thing for the other device.

I received a Performance MX mouse as a gift recently and have been having problem after problem with it working. There is a continual problem with the mouse lagging after the cursor has not been moved for...

I'd suggest downloading the most recent software and drivers for the Performance MX mouse to see if that makes a difference. You can get that software directly from their site at this link: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/428/783?section=downloads.

They also have a fairly good FAQs and troubleshooting section for their products. Your devices page should be this link: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support-downloads/downloads/mice/devices/783.

If neither of those help you'll have to contact Logitech directly regarding your warranty question. You can either email them or call them, and their contact info is listed on their website: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support-downloads.

Got a new laptop, acer 6930, my old mouse worked until some updates were done, so i bought a new Logitech wirelesss mouse,, it says it installed it, but it doesnt work

if these updates are logitech based. may be issue with hid driver system.

  1. open the device manager
  2. look for the mouse section
  3. right click on the logitech mouse
  4. update driver (do not start auto updater)
  5. select advanced/install from specific location
  6. then select dont search i will choose a driver.

First, make sure the batteries are still working, then reset the connection. Then you want to make sure you have the most recent drivers and software for the mouse by going here:

I have a Logitech wireless mouse that I cannot seem to get working on the computer i have a logitech cordless mouse JNZ201962 which i cant seem to operate even thou it says the drivers are installed

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch. Hope this helps you. Bud

Logitech G7 cordless laser mouse - erratic action

Acting on advice from another FixYa string, we blew out the mouse and dock several times with canned air. It performed slightly better, but then as we continued to use the mouse it suddenly cleared and is working almost 100% now.

From reading earlier strings, I'm wondering why Logitech (in its product material received on purchase) doesn't recommend this as periodic maintenance for the mouse?

Logitech cordless mouse and keyboard installation

You probably already done this but try pressing the receiver button and while it is flashing turn the board over and press the small reset/connect button on the bottom of the board and also the reset/connect button on the bottom of the mouse. It should work okay after that. here is hoping that helps. Bud
