You can use any kind of picture downloading software to import photos from a camera.
Personally, I like Google PICASA the most.

For Windows XP & 2000 you don't need any drivers, the PC should recognise the camera as a USB Mass Storage device & you should be able to copy directly from it.
For Windows 98 you can get the driver from the link below:

If you need the PhotoSuite software then you would need to purchase a copy:
