Serial number windows xp sp2 - Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2

You need to use Windows XP Professional SP3 media dvd if you want to use your XP Pro SP3 product key. As far as I know, the SP3 product key does not work with the previous version of media (non-SP, SP1, and SP2).

your orginal key for sp2 should work fine.. unless this is a pirated version then you will have to find another means of find a serial number

you will want to go to the windows site most of the time they can issues you a new key even via the phone with just the serial number or upc from the box or case that the windows discs came in

call Microsoft and give them the date and the confirmation number. they should be able to give you another serial number.

I think is a problem related to Windows XP SP3.

- Solution:
Re-install Windows XP SP3 (integrated).
Right after installation (no reboot) run the CVF installer. It will work.
Then do normall installation stuff.
If you have Windows XP SP2 you won't have any problem.

Couldn't find ANY solution with SP3 installed before CVF installation.

you need to ask soft4download for the Windows XP pro. serial number.
if they cna't provide you with the serial number, I suggest you ask for your money back. you didn't buy a legal copy of the OS.
