I have an ipod touch and it got disabled and says i need to connect it to itunes to enable it again. the only problem is that when i connect it to itunes my itunes says that it cant acess my ipod because i...

Go to it's tab in iTunes, and hit the button that says restore. It'll restore it to factory settings, and then you just need to go back through the steps to put your iPod like it was (I.E. syncing and jailbreaking, putting custom settings, etc.)

My ipod touch 4th generation says -ipod is disabled connect to itunes- tried that and itunes wouldnt open unless unlocked my ipod and i cant. I tried restoring it and itunes said ipod can not be restored...

"iPod is disabled - Connect to iTunes" . This is because someone(or something?) has tried to crack your password too many times, which causes Iphone/Ipod to automatically disable itself to protect your data.

To restore your iPod, you must connect your iPod to iTunes with your iPod connector table. Make sure it is on and has this message when you connect it to your computer. Once connected, iTunes should detect it as usual.

Once connected, make sure you have all the proper sync settings enabled - for example, applications, music, photos, etc. Change something so that the Sync button in the bottom right appears in the iTunes window. Then sync the data.

When syncing is finished, turn on your iPod / iPhone and you should notice that the message is gone. Type in your password and the disabled message should be gone.

If the message is still there, try holding the sleep and home button at the same time until the iPod turns off, then continue holding the sleep and home button until a screen with the iTunes logo and a picture of the connector cable appears. This will put your iPod in Restore mode. With this option, you must click the Restore button in iTunes, which will delete all your data on the iPod.

I found this ipod touch (1st generation) but it is disabled and i cant put in a password. Every time i hook it up to itunes it says i need the password to use it what do i do to reset it?

Connect it to a computer with itunes installed. Then reset it by holding the awake and sleep button with the home button at the same time. Once it resets, hold down only the home button, until it connects to your itunes and asks you to restore the ipod.

I found a Ipod touch and it say "IPOD is disabled - Connect to itunes" I did this nothing happened, before this message it asked for the code, but i didn't know, what do I Do?

Hold the power button (top button) and the home button at the same time for 30 seconds until it says restoring in process or it will have a yellow hazardous sign. Connect it to Itunes and it will prompt you to restore. Restoring it will change it back to its factory settings and erase everything on the ipod.

If u tried connecting it itunes will say cannot connect enter password. Unplug it and follow the steps above. You must have a itunes account to do this,

Ipod touch disabled

If you repeatedly enter the wrong passcode, iPod touch will be disabled for longer intervals, before you can try again.

After too many unsuccessful attempts, you won't be able to try again until you connect to the computer you normally sync with.

So you have to give the touch back and have it connect with the original pc. Or then loose all the files with a update/restore.
