What is system error # 9 ?

bad batteries.

Remove battery for awhile then put back in.

Same with base station.... it probably has a button battery to hold settings. Remove, test & replace

Setting the Day & Time
To change the time shown in the display, follow the steps listed below.
If you do not set the clock on your answering system, your messages on the
answering system may not have the correct time and day stamp.
Press MENU/SELECT.
Move the cursor to Day & Time and press MENU/SELECT.
Use and to select the day of the week, and press MENU/
SELECT.

Use the number keypad (0 through 9) to enter the hour and minutes.

You may need a new cordless phone. I had this happen to my old cordless. It's a bit of a costly fix but you get a phone back.

I have the same question for my AT&T CL83212 cordless phone. I set the time, but when a call comes in the time reverts to 3 hours back - Pacific Time. We are Eastern Time. I called AT&T &
was send a new Uverse modem (???) - that did nothing. I am ready to return the phone.

I had the same message. After a length investigation, I found it was the phone line and not the phone. After having the phone line fixed, the phone worked fined.

My Panasonic KX-TG5100 Cordless Phone has System errr #3
Blinks some LEDS and no response to any key.
Please send me clue to fix it.

I'm not familiar with a KX-T6160 system, so do you mean SIX-SIXTEEN-DEE(616d) or SIX-SIXTEEN-TEN (61610)? Either way, the cordless phone works. You need access codes, like 9 for an outside line, FLASH and dial an extension for transfer, 40 for ringing call pickup (on the 61610), and 58x (61610) to pick a line from hold. Your phone system manual has a single line telephone user guide in it.

You can, but why? A generic cordless works fine for a lot less money. You need to know codes like 40, 9, 58x, etc.

At $300+ you can buy 15 or more inexpensive cordless phones and learn the SLT codes.
