Restore laptop Do you know how I can stor y acer aspire one lap top to factory settings? I cannot do it through the start menu. Is there any other way I could do it such as pressing an f key?

Restore aspire 5610

Hi Fentylfc,

  • Click "Start" menu.

  • Click "Programs."

  • Click "Acer Recovery Management."
  • Click the "Restore" button on the bottom of the dialog box that opens.
  • Click "Restore System to Factory Default."
  • Click "Yes" in the warning dialog box which asks if you wish to continue the recovery process.
  • Click "Start" to restore the computer to the default factory settings
  • If you are unable to access the Start menu, use the recovery CDs that came with the computer and always make a back-up CD before restoring a computer to factory defaults. Good Luck...

    what do you mean that the hard drive has been wiped out? did you reinstall a new operating system on the PC? if that so & you still want to bring back all the software & settings that came originally with this PC then you can try this.
