Sony BM1-47 i have recorded four channels on BM 246. I know that all four channels recorded properly, but when i try to transcribe it on my BM-146 channel 3 is not working.

No, this unit does not have an erase feature. You would need a magnetict tape eraser such as a BE10.

Hello the reason is you have set as Dictator Press and hold Stop and Reset for more than 2 seconds when your dispay change and show 000 your unit is ready to transcribe your auto back space it will work Normally

Transcription does not work .. foot pedal will not

Hello on the right side of unit is a switch for transcribe make sure is on the on position you are going to see on Deck A only lines on display, put your tape on Deck B is the only side that transcribes if the pedal does not respond you probably have a broken pedal here is one in a great price

If there is no sound on a channel, and you know the recording is there, then you either have a bad head or a broken wire at the tape head.
